covbarredowl3.gif Barred Owl House

This Classic "hoot owl" lives in low, wet woods and suburban areas. Slightly larger than Barn Owls. Be patient, and before too long you may have new "hooter" in the neighborhood. The house may differ slighty in size and dimension then the house pictured.(25 x 14.25 x 19)

covNestPerch3.gif Bird Nesting Perch

Bird Nesting Perch

Great open-front nesting box for Song Sparrows, Robins, Barn Swallows, Phoebes, Thrashers, Catbirds and other birds.

Size: 9.5 x 9.25 x 8.5

covdowny2.gif Downy Woodpecker House

These friendly little Woodpeckers even enjoy being around people! A Backyard Favorite! Great as a gift!(15.5 x 5.75 x 8) Comes w/Squirrel Guard.

covkestrel3.gif Kestrel House

The American Kestrel cannot excavate its own hole and depends on finding the large nesting holes of Woodpeckers for its own nesting place. Since these are in short supply, the Kestrel population is often dependent on nesting boxes such as our Kestrel House. The Kestrel is an amazing bird, feasting on insects and small rodents. Included in our Kestrel House in an interior perch so the mother and babies can keep a sharp eye out for the next meal. The house should be placed in an open area such as on the edge of a field, meadow or even along a roadway or highway. (17.35 x 9.25 x 11)

covpurpmartin2thm.gif Purple Martin House
This unique Purple Martin House is designed for a bird which, while it lives in colonies, is also quite territorial. Therefore, each "apartment" is separated from the rest. In houses with several holes in a row, Martins will occupy only every other one unless they are crowded. This separation also helps ensure the survival of the young Martins. Babies tend to wander into the cavity next door, but the neighboring mother will not feed them, so they may die.

According to the Purple Martin Society's magazine, many baby Martins who are raised in metal houses have deformed legs because the floors are slippery and they never learn to stand. Unlike metal floors, our wooden floors give them something to grab onto.(18 x 17.5 x 17.5)

covscreechowl2.gif Saw-Whet/Screech Owl House

Saw-whet and Screech Owls have tough competition with other birds for natural cavities to nest in because they're so small. They eat night-flying insect and an occassional small bird. You may want to position this nest house away from other bird houses. The charming little owls can actually become quite tame over time.(17.75 x 9.25 x 11)

cov3woodpecker3.gif Three Woodpecker House

This popular Woodpecker house comes standard with a slate predator guard to keep squirrels from enlarging the entrance hole. Only a few variaties of woodpeckers live in human-made boxes, but the Hairy Woodpecker, the Red-headed Woodpecker and the Red-bellied Woodpecker regularly do--and they all use the same size house. (17.5 x 7.5 x 9.75) w/Slate Squirrel Guard
